Are the Broncos a playoff team?

George Stoia of the Denver and Colorado Springs Gazette says they are ... with Drew Lock as the starting QB.

Good morning, Broncos Country!

As the 2021 regular season draws closer, one question is bound to get asked numerous times. So let’s ask it again.

Are the Denver Broncos a playoff team?

The hopeful will say “yes;” some will say it’s way too early to tell.

George Stoia is one who believes the Broncos are ... if Drew Lock is the starting quarterback. The Broncos beat writer for the Denver and Colorado Springs Gazette was an awesome guest on the MHR Radio Podcast who offered some great insight on the roster and where this team stands right now.

But the fact he believes Denver is playoff team if Lock is the quarterback is very interesting. His thought process is that Lock has a higher ceiling. He’s capable of making the big plays that this team needs and is better suited for this offense. He also said we know what Teddy Bridgewater is and he’s not the guy to take the Broncos to that next step.

It’s the argument that we’ve heard all offseason, and we’ll see if Vic Fangio and the organization agree in the coming days.
