ESPN’s Adam Schefter joined “The Drive” with D-Mac and Tyler Polumbus and potentially broke some news on the Broncos quarterback decision.

Strongly hinted he believes it will be Teddy Bridgewater.

Schefter told D-Mac and Polumbus that he expects the Broncos to name a starter at quarterback this week and apparently strongly hinted at that quarterback being Teddy Bridgewater.
This really isn’t a huge surprise if you have been paying attention to the media and Vic Fangio’s comments after the game. Everything seemed to point to Bridgewater getting the nod from Head Coach Vic Fangio (or whoever is making that call to be the team's week one starter at quarterback.
Now, I didn’t hear this live, but reliable people are tweeting it out and Schefter is about as official as it comes to this sort of stuff. So, it seems like we should be expecting an announcement of this sometime soon. The Broncos hit the practice field tomorrow, so probably sometime before then or during practice, we should know.
Bridgewater is coming off a strong preseason where he led the offense each and every drive he had the ball. He also showed poise in the pocket, was able to avoid the pass rush, and make key plays when given the chance. Hopefully, if this is true of course, continues into the regular season.
