Preseason 2021: Rams at Broncos - Live updates

The Denver Broncos (2-0) will host their first preseason game today as the Los Angeles Rams (0-2) come to town for both teams’ final preseason game before the regular season.

There will be a lot of starters on the field for the Broncos tonight, so it is clearly not a preseason game being treated like the traditional final preseason game. Instead, it’s being treated as that previous third preseason game. So a dry run of the regular season perhaps.

Denver is one of the few teams that have been pushing their starters for playing time early. Many teams have sat 20-30 or more players in games rather than risk injury. We’ll have to see how this strategy plays out compared to teams like the Minnesota Vikings who played their starters very sparingly.
