Welcome to Week 3!
Well here I am... Eating crow. I tallied up my winnings last week and saw double-digits in the win column and feeling like things were looking good. Then I tallied up Laurie’s total and saw complete domination on the leaderboard. It’s only two weeks in and Jess and I have some serious work to do.
To keep the Las Vegas Raiders from winning another game, I’ve decided to pick them this week. Yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! I did get 500 people to vote against Laurie for picking the Raiders last week, so I’ll count that as a win.
Anyway, both Jess and I can only hope to chip away at Laurie’s lead little by little at this point. Here’s to one week at a time! (lol)
Some notables from the comments last week: Skliesen smoked the room with 12 wins. BroncosfaninIL came in with 11 wins, Johnny G_627 and my Canadian challenger habbrorapjay notched 10 wins each. Respectable. BeccaLu could have been near the top, but she didn’t pick two games and still ended up with 9 wins. Meanwhile, Horsepower1 clawed their way to 9 wins and Kormathaw made the critical mistake of picking the Chiefs and Chargers to win coming in with just 8 wins last week.
If I missed anyone, I apologize, but this list is growing. I may stick with only the top plays if more and more people throw down in the comments section.
