Broncos offense playing with more confidence heading into home opener

On Friday’s Broncos Country Tonight, Dalton Risner joined the show to discuss why the offense is more confident and the matchup against the Jets defensive front.

Through the first two games, it’s clear the Denver Broncos offense has confidence.

That’s not something we’ve seen since Peyton Manning retired, so it’s a sight for sore eyes.

Now that the Broncos are set for the home opener, the offense will look to carry that over and try to build on the first two games against the New York Jets. That could be a difficult task with the Jets defense, especially the front led by Quinnen Williams.

On Broncos Country Tonight, Ryan Edwards and Benjamin Allbright talked with Denver left guard Dalton Risner to breakdown Sunday’s game. Risner talked about the matchup against the New York defense and why the offense has been playing with so much confidence to start the season.

“They got a great defensive front. Compared to last year they completely switched up the defense with their new head coach and new DC, really new staff. So the defense we’re going against will be completely new looks but a lot of the same football players, which are good football players. They do a lot of good stuff so we’ve go to make sure we’re prepared, and just got to make sure we don’t underestimate them.”
