The Denver Broncos announced on Wednesday that they designated running back Mike Boone to return from injured reserve. He enters a 21-day practice window and will not count against the 53-man roster until fully activated.

With the Broncos special teams unit ranking at or near the bottom through the first three games, Boone’s return figures to really help bolster that unit once he is back fully.

The team also announced the signing of two interior offensive linemen to their practice squad. The first was Harry Crider who was an undrafted rookie out of Indiana who spent training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles before being cut prior to the start of the season. The other was Javon Patterson who was a seventh round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and spent time with four different teams over that time.
