George Paton is a mistake for this very simple reason...

When George was hired I did not feel like he was the right guy because picking Justin Jefferson was obvious and the Eagles make egregious mistakes in terms of drafting receivers. I thought George was going to play it safe and create a wonderfully vanilla team.

His first moves and his patience really made me become a George guy and forget my initial assessment that John Elway made yet another mistake in hiring the wrong guy.

I'll keep it short in simple: Paton should interview Brian Daboll who is behind Josh Allen's success. The fact that he interviewed everyone but him makes me really not like our trajectory for the next ten years. If he drafts Sauce Gardner maybe he's the savoy scout he's proved to be but not interviewing the coach that had a perfect game is not good at all.
