Broncos’ Twitter has as much fun with Mahomes’ meltdown as with team’s dominating win

Twitter is fun after a win. It’s even more fun when the Chiefs also lose.

After a Denver Broncos’ win, I feel the same way about Twitter as I do about any national sports media program - I can’t get enough of it because I know the commentary is going to make me happy.

But when the Kansas City Chiefs also lose - and in dramatic fashion that features Patrick Mahomes having a meltdown - Twitter is pretty much the only place to be.

While I could post those tweets all day (or night), there were way too many Broncos’ highlights in the dominating win over the Los Angeles Chargers to not point those out at all.

Beginning, of course, with that defense.

Six sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles, nine QB hits and seven tackles for a loss. And most importantly - holding the opponent to a lot fewer points than us.

And a lot of former Broncos’ greats took notice.

The offense was not to be left out, however, scoring three touchdowns and a field goal while never letting the Chargers even get close.

And they did that by letting Courtland Sutton do Courtland Sutton things.

But I think many of us in Broncos Country are probably guilty of feeling like RGIII tonight.

A little bit in shock.

Wow indeed.
