NFL: Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions are two teams that have flipped the script on their 2022 season. The Lions a bit early, but both teams are poised to make a push into the playoffs within their respective conferences

Game Preview

For the Broncos, this game is going to come down to containing the speed threat this Lions offense poses. In a lot of ways the Lions pose a similar threat to the Broncos defense that Miami Dolphins did during their 10 touchdown game in Week 3 against this unit.

You’d have to expect defensive coordinator Vance Joseph to be aware of that and on his guys to keep pace with that offense and keep the pressure in Jared Goff’s face all game long. The key to victory is to keep him guessing and on his back. From there, the Broncos offense can control the ball and consistently put up points to secure their eighth win of the season.

Here’s how to watch.

Broncos-Lions Betting Odds

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Broncos opened a four-point underdog to the Lions on the road this week. Since then, the line has grown slightly to 4.5-points in favor of the home team with an over/under at 42.5. I decided to stick with my team through this and have the Broncos covering and winning the game outright.

Fan Sentiment

Fan Confidence bounced back to an in-season high of 98%, which makes sense considering they have won six of their last seven games. I also asked how everyone thinks they will finish out the final four games. 91% of you think they will finish 4-0 or 3-1 down the stretch. Both of those result in a 10-win season for Denver. I asked a similar question three weeks ago and that 91% number for 10+ wins jumped from 68% back then. So confidence in this team is certainly growing.
