Broncos player props: 5 best bets for Week 16

Christmas Eve offers a big game for the Broncos but short on prop betting opportunities. Here are some to look at.

The Denver Broncos are playing for the playoff lives.

The New England Patriots are looking to maintain their current NFL Draft position.

In terms of the player props for Sunday night’s game, it’s not the best. Though after last week, I could use a bounce back much like the Broncos. I went 1-for-4 in my picks. I’m now 27-41 on my picks for the season.

DraftKings Sportsbook has some of the best prop bets available and Week 16 vs the Patriots is no different.

Broncos first drive result touchdown (+425)

Denver was set to at least get a field goal, perhaps a TD, on its drive against the Detroit Lions before a costly fumble. Given how good New England’s defense is, the Broncos need to start Sunday night strong with a TD on their opening drive of the game.

Marvin Mims anytime TD (+850)

Since Courtland Sutton is likely to face double coverage and be blanketed, the Broncos rookie gets into the endzone to help the offense out.

Marvin Mims alternate receiving yards 25+ (+200)

Since Bill Belichick is known for taking away the opponent’s top offensive weapon, the Broncos passing game will need other guys to step up. The rookie receiver does just that.

Bailey Zappe over 0.5 interceptions (-145)

Not the best value, the Denver defense gets Zappe to throw a pick.

Baron Browning over .25 sacks (+114)

After what happened against the Lions, the Denver defense will be motivated against a bad QB and offense. Browning gets a sack on Christmas Eve.
