Broncos vs. Patriots: How to watch, TV schedule, injury report, odds and more

The Denver Broncos must win out to have a chance at the playoffs and that must start with a win over the New England Patriots this week. Here’s how to watch.

It’s that time of the year when every game matters for teams still in the playoff hunt and the Denver Broncos are one of those teams for a change, while the New England Patriots are not — also for a change.

Game Preview

The key for the Broncos here is to just take care of the football on offense and convert on what few opportunities that might get against a very tough Patriots' defense. On the other side of the ball, it would be good to get a few turnovers but mostly they just need to find some pressure against the quarterback. That was something that was completely lacking in their blowout loss last week.

This is a must-win game for them against a team already eliminated from playoff contention, so realistically this game should not even be close given Denver is at home and with so much riding on the outcome. Hopefully we will see them follow through with a convincing win today.

Here’s how to watch.

Broncos-Patriots Betting Odds

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Broncos opened 5.5-point home favorites over the Patriots. However, that spread has grown to a 7.5-point advantage for Denver with an over/under set at just 35.5 points. While I think the Broncos will win this game, I am very doubtful they win by more than a touchdown so I did go with New England to cover.

Fan Sentiment

Fan Confidence plummeted from a season-high 98% to 80% after their blowout loss to the Detroit Lions last week. Not only that, the number of fans who believed they would finish 10-7 or better went from 91% to just 46% over the same span. Which means most of us think the Broncos will stumble further from here and finish with a single-digit win total.
