Here’s how to watch the Denver Broncos on the road against the Houston Texans in Week 13. Can Denver make it six-in-a-row?

The Denver Broncos are tied for an NFL-best active win streak and will need to make it six in a row to turn playoff aspirations into playoff possibility with a road win over the Houston Texans here in Week 13.

Game Preview

For the Broncos offense, they need to get ahead of the down and distance early and often. The Texans give up a lot of yards on defense, but are stingy in the red zone and that is an area, as Head Coach Sean Payton noted this week, where efficiency will be important.

“I think early down efficiency is important,” Payton said on Friday. “It’s a penetrating, one-gap defense. They play hard. They play fast to the ball. You can see it on tape. You can just feel the energy they play with, and that’s a result of their coaching and the talent that they have. [Texans DT] Sheldon Rankins—shoot, he was a first-round pick of ours in New Orleans. They have a number of good players, so I think being good on early downs is important. There’s a handful of keys, but it’s a team that if they get you behind the chains in long-yardage situations, it becomes more and more problematic.”

I think the Texans will get theirs going on offense, so it will be important for the defense to steal a turnover or two and for the offense to put up points it had struggled to against much better defenses over their five-game win streak.

Here’s how to watch.

Broncos-Texans Betting Odds

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Broncos opened slight 2.5-point underdogs on the road against Houston. That line has since increased to a full field goal with an over/under at 47. I have the Broncos covering that spread and winning this game outright to extend their win streak to six games.

Fan Sentiment

Fan Confidence remains incredibly high at 97%, which is to be expected as the team is on a five-game win streak. So instead, I asked fans to predict their final record for the season. Most turned bullish, but a few think they’ll fade a bit down the stretch. I personally think they’ll end up 10-7 when its all said and done.
