I get it, the Broncos lost a tough road game to the Texans earlier today. However, the game was spirited and close and if not for Russell Wilson’s three interceptions they likely win that game. Meanwhile, the Chargers stumbled into a 6-0 win on the road against the hapless New England Patriots. Somehow that win makes them an even bigger opening odds favorite over Denver than the likely playoff-bound Texans last week?
To be honest, I don’t understand the love the Chargers get. They are 5-7 and just barely won a game over a two-win team. They are not that good. That said, the Broncos are not consistent enough to be a sure bet either. Wilson looked terrible on Sunday outside of a few big plays and that has to change if Denver is going to get back on a winning track next week.
