Week 17: Chargers at Broncos - Live Updates

NFL: Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Update: Broncos defeat Chargers 16-9 to move to 8-8 on the season.

The Denver Broncos will roll with quarterback Jarrett Stidham for their final two games of the season and he’ll face an opponent in the Los Angeles Chargers that is going through its own late season issues. This is about as winnable a game as there could be for a backup quarterback to take over an offense, but anything could happen in the NFL — especially for a Broncos team that struggles to win games at home against bad football teams.

Kickoff is set for 2:25 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. The game will air on CBS with Tom McCarthy (play-by-play), James Lofton (analyst), and Jay Feely / Tiffany Blackmon (sideline) announcing. You can also check local Broncos radio network affiliate stations.

Broncos vs. Chargers game predictions

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Broncos line opened at just 5.5-points in favor over the Chargers, but dropped to 3.5-points immediately after the benching of Russell Wilson. There is a good chance the Broncos offense is able to come out and put up some points here, so I would definitely take the Broncos to win and to cover the spread against the Easton Stick-led Chargers.
