The NFL has announced its 2021 regular season schedule. The Denver Broncos will have nine home games and eight away games this season. The schedule itself is rather kind to Denver in many ways. They will also own one of the best strength of schedules in the NFL, which will hopefully lead to more wins this season.

Preseason Schedule

Week 1: at Minnesota Vikings

Week 2: at Seattle Seahawks

Week 3: vs Los Angeles Rams

Here is a breakdown of the Broncos schedule for 2021:

Denver has a legitimate shot at getting into a fast start with three teams in Weeks 1-3 that were bad football teams last season. Vic Fangio’s defense will take on two rookie quarterbacks early and Daniel Jones. If they can get out to a 3-0 start there, it could help carry them to relevance later in the schedule.

The difficult part of the schedule begins after the Bye Week. Playing all but one of their AFC West division games after the Week 11 Bye is going to be a brutal test for this young football team. They really do need to get to that Bye Week with a winning record if they are to fight for one of those playoff spots.

The most brutal part of the schedule could be Weeks 4-9. All of those teams, except for the lowly Las Vegas Raiders, have been playoff teams in recent history. Getting through that part of the schedule with a few wins is also going to be vital.
