A name many at MHR are familiar with, Mario Fannin is a running-back whose name died off after suffering an injury in last year's off-season programs. Assuming he can stay healthy this year, he could easily be a dark horse candidate to get plenty of touches behind Willis McGahee and Ronnie Hillman (assuming he's No. 2). While at Auburn, he totaled 1,366 yards and 11 touchdowns on 233 carries (5.9 per carry). He also helped out in the passing game by becoming the school's all time leader in receiving yards for a running-back, catching 97 balls for 985 yards (10.1 Y/C) and 9 touchdowns. A deadly combination of size and speed, Fannin is the "ideal" John Fox back. The 24-year-old comes in at 5'11" and 224 lbs and was clocked at 4.38 seconds for the 40-yard-dash in his respective combine. In an offense armed with Peyton Manning, and given John Fox's history of utilizing multiple backs, Fannin may be a viable option as a third-down back thanks to his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. With Ronnie Hillman, Lance Ball, Jeremiah Johnson, and Knowshon Moreno all in the picture, the RB competition behind McGahee will shape up to be a good one.

Sunshine, hard work, and good times during Broncos first day of OTAs

The weather was great, the intensity high, and the attitudes positive. A great start to OTAs after a high impact workout. Good to have football again in Denver.
