The Denver Broncos rookies and a few try outs hit the field for the first time yesterday. Let's take a look at a few highlights from yesterday's practices.
Rookies watch a video of Terrell Davis:
Kubiak said he showed #Broncos rookies a little video of Terrell Davis to show them how to get noticed and a potential path to the roster.

Davis was a 6th round pick back in 1995 and had to earn himself a roster spot and catch the coaches eye before he went on to have his great career.
I'm sure the video had this clip in it.
Kubiak was just telling the group of 36 players that if they put in the hard work and dedication that they too can make it in the NFL.
"They can't go out there today and cover a kick and hit somebody, but you are just trying to prove who you are and how you can take the thing from the meeting room to the practice field. That’s important," Kubiak added later. "What can a guy handle? Then when he goes out there today, most guys are flying around this morning, which everybody was. It will be interesting to see who is still flying around this afternoon. It’s about consistency and what they do, and seeing if we can give them an opportunity."
Garcia focusing on playing guard...for now:
#Broncos 4th Round pick Max Garcia said he's working at guard now will eventually "transition over to center'' as well.
— Jeff Legwold (@Jeff_Legwold) May 8, 2015
Many have assumed that fourth round pick Max Garcia will be the starting center for the Broncos this season, but for now he is taking reps at right guard behind Louis Vasquez.
"Right now really the game plan is to learn guard and then as I learn the offense and get more comfortable, then probably transition over to center," Garcia said. "But right now it's just guard."
It sounds like if Garcia wants to compete for the starting center job he will need to learn the offense and get comfortable in Kubiak's/Manning's offense first.
Tight end Jeff Heuerman makes a nice one-handed catch:
